Best to install an airbag on/off switch - just to be safe:

While this discussion seems to have gone off-topic, I will now reveal the mileage of my car to turn back to the topic again.

As of today, 20.492 km. which in miles is equal to 12.733 miles. So far I think I win...

I have just under 16K kilometers on my Turbo S Lightweight, which is about 10K miles. I would drive it a lot more, but I am on the road over 80% of the time working. Carlos

I would drive mine more if it were the only one. Not worth driving any of my cars as DD's since I drive one of the worst roads in the country each day and it would just suck. Drove a 911 for 10 years as a DD and can't do it anymore. Need a big Urban assault vehicle for the daily haul. I cover about 6-8k miles a year in pleasure driving and that is split between three Porsche's. So on average about 1-3k a year depending on which car I decide to take. Does enough to keep the smile on my face.

There are actually a number of lower mileage cars out there. Especially the 3.6's. Most of these cars sold to collectors an will probably not see much use but I knew of at least 10 cars with less than 8k miles a few years ago. What they have now I couldn't tell you.

All very well with low miles, my turbo had 17k miles when I bought it, in 2002, it was 11 years old...due to lack of us the clutch had stuck and juddered badly so had to be replaced and rear wheel bearings were replaced cos they had sat for so long in one position.

Wish I still had it........
