Default Heritage Motorcar 968 Turbo Conversion

Rob (aka RolexNJ) suggested that I post some information here for 944t folks on my 968 Turbo conversion.

Jason Lee at Heritage Motorcar has done all the mechanical work. Jason Hiler also of Heritage Motorcar did all the body work and repaint.

I had previously owned a 1985.5 Porsche 944, purchased new. Red with a camel interior (of course). I put 135,000 miles on the 944 and traded it in at Brumos in JAX for my Polar Silver with a navy blue interior 968.

I put 100,000 miles on my 968. I had known Jason Lee from before his Heritage Motorcar business in Largo FL. At 100K miles, wife said either restore or renovate, or sell and start the mileage over with a new sports car. I chose removate to contemporary high performance cutting edge standards. Spoke with the two Jasons. Below is a hint at the results

Thats incredible, i have always wanted one of those. It truly looks like it could have been built in 2008.
Congrats.

Congrats.
I can't think of a car built in 2008 with that beautiful of a design.

Love the painted rear bumperettes, but please Grant dump the fronts for the euro lenses!

Damian

Those little itty-bitty front bumperettes are needed to protect my 968 in case of a front end collision - NOT

Agreed, what was Porsche thinking?

Schatz Motorsport has the euro lenses-and order the door inserts in Polar Silver from Bumperplugs-take a straight edge razor blade and trim until it fits into your trunk release. Here's mine.

No one has made any clears that fit exactly, the 964 and 993 units don't work perfectly.
