i think it is possible to put a standard 993 wheel on. i guess you value having the airbag, but if you're not too bothered then I can recommend the wheel I have - I love it - i think its the "club sport" wheel.

Three Wheelin'
From what i can see in the paperwork for my 968 L741 is Black with clear coat paint. From a quick search Black had a couple of codes for that year (94/95) but no others mention the clear coat.

is this a good price at £59k? I've seen them range from £35k and up, and unfortunately the closer I seem to be to ever getting one (about 10 years away right now i'd say!) they seem to keep on creeping up in price.
I saw one on pistonheads last week, in Derby, £35k but didnt have the speedlines (why oh why would you get rid of the speelines?) and also another one in skipton for £68k. The history on the £68k one is better, but how does one justify it costing twice as much?

I think previous discussions have cited the 40-odd as UK cars. There are probably ~ 100 RHD Turbo 3.6s in the world. Still pretty rare.
BTW: All this talk of prices in different markets is interesting. On a good day in New Zealand my car would bring about GBP 30,100 or USD 43,400 at current exchange rates. One year ago it would have been 30% higher.

To give a continental European perspective, look mobile.de. The cheapest 3.3 turbo is up at €33k (£30k) and they rise to c.€60k (£55k) for a very low mileage car, which happens to be the starting point for a 3.6 turbo.
Given that there are far fewer RHD 3.6 turbos than LHD, then £60k isn't necessarily that unreasonable...

Wise words printed here....who can place a value on something that is so short on availability. Combine that with desirability, (which I recognise can fluctuate) and if the latter continues to grow who knows what will happen to ROW RHD prices.
In regard to graham's ex car currently on pistonheads for £59k, if it had been the only thing available last Sept, (and Minty hadn't been) I would have made a serious offer in a heart beat; the fact of the matter is the dealer paid a fair market rate for the car when buying it back, so they must be very confident it will move at that price. On the 'QT' I would have paid more for Minty than I did; I wanted it that badly. (Cost me a new 'warm-blood' dressage horse for the missus though).
