Default Production numbers

I was wondering if I could determine which number my car was in the prodution out from the VIN number?

The last 4 digits is the sequence of production number. This is for per market, like if North America it would be a different sequence then for Rest of World.

If the last four digits for instance was '0400' and the car was from '92, does that mean the car was #400 in '92, or in the total production?

It means that your car is number 0400 out of XXXX, and I assume your car is not a North America car.
