Welcome headlesshorseman! I read about your purchase on PH - your car has been discussed on here before. There's an awful lot of expertise available on here (which I would be pretty sure you'll be needing over the coming months!)

Enjoy in good health!

thanks TJR the car is good and strong as it should be,i have put 200 miles on it the only issue is non working electric mirrors. the only thing i need to do is get the interior retrimed to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the car now that i have hopefully sorted the registration issues out.

i have seen it discussed on here and pelican ,its not a problem for me as i said the guy has been building racing porsches for 20 years, sunk 30k of his own money and 100s of hours everything is brand new or rebuilt, and i have had so much fun in it already.pete

Yeah remember seeing car for sale and always thought it would be good purchase for someone especially with the engine just undergoing a fresh rebuild and with also many other new parts fitted.
Well done in your purchase!

car was imported to the uk in 2004 from hong kong, but from what i can gather either paperwork was lost and or tried to get away without paying proper import duty either way only 99 pounds duty paid instead of 1800 pounds so hm customs are not that happy.uk reg has now been offered to me but either non year reg number or year related reg number but financial penalty, but i am in contact with customs and dvla trying to come to a reasonable outcome for both parties.

Looks great. Tell us more about the upgrades/ mods....
Sure it isn't a respray? Looks like slate grey, what does the paint code say?

PS: Hope to see it sometime. Hope you're not one of these guys who just stores it away ;-)
