I do not recall, did the S2 get basically C2 normal cams or SC cans?.

Were the intake ports opened up?

I know it did get a new larger IC core welded in via Andial and the K27-7006 turbo (larger turbine wheel).

One of twenty might be able to answer this better although the info I have says the cams should be part numbers 964.105.246.09 & 964.105.247.P3 with drive adapter 930.105.171.P3 an intercooler is listed 930.110.330.P3 and turbo is listed as a K27 930.123.099.00.

I have heard the I/C is larger although looking at the pics of the S2 engine it doesn't look any different than the stock unit.

Yes additional machining and polishing was completed.

This is the list provided to me by OneOfTwenty:

Basically, more aggressive cams, upgraded turbo, larger intercooler. I don't know what the other items are for.

The intercooler is larger. It looks like a stock one only larger.

Is it possible to get some up close photos and dimensions when you get a chance. I know pictures can be deceiving they just don't appear any larger. Also why didn't they use this I/C on the flachbau?

I think they enlarged the intercooler by chopping off the inlet and outlet and welding a larger core in between them.

I would keep the steering wheel. It looks better than the stock one.
Or if you want a stock one I'll take that steering wheel off your hands

That is what they did. Andial also offered it as a stand alone mod. I remember seeing one and talking to an Andial guy about it at a Porsche event where they had a booth.

RUF Steering wheel is removed and replaced with stock. I have 2 people in line for the RUF wheel but no "done deal" as of yet. They are both waiting on me to quote shipping so we can see if they complete the transaction. PM for followup.

The two white wires coming from the front and back of the intercooler measure in and out temps. This intercooler does a really good job.

Thanks for the pics.

I will need to look closer at mine although it is possible the extra 1/2" on the bottom is the additional core. Or they might have just used a more efficient core of equal size.

Thanks.

I see you have the poster from 93 in your avatar, have you ever tracked down posters from 1991 and/or 1992. I saw one of them for sale a long time ago. It was all in german but you still got the point.

No. Have only seen a B&W of the earlier posters. I have not seen one of them for sale. If you find one. Let me know.
