To chime in here on the paintwork, on my '92 I hit a hunk of something on the interstate during one of my commutes that punched a hole and destroyed the quarter panel extension. It didn't do any metal damage, and I got a new part from Porsche (yeah that was cheap..) and had the quarter panel resprayed so that it matched the quarter panel extension. It mataches perfectly, and like I said, no metal work was done. So the paint issue may be nothing, or very minor like mine, or it may be worse.
With regards to the speedo, I had a true mileage unknown 911 cab, it was a bear to sell. So I'd walk away from this one.

I agree with turbo3.6....it took me almost two years before I found my car and there was a red flag with the miles but between the the PPI, the dealer and Car Fax I was confident there were no games being played. I'd move on but that's easy to say when you have one.

I've got a GP White '91 Turbo with 50,000 miles, needs nothing, and I'd probably trade it straight up for a very nice C2S. I actually got this car because I happened upon it while looking at 993s and fell in love.
I think you're wise to walk from this deal.

Definitely time to move on. I just did a quick search on Autotrader and there were a number of turbos, even a few 94's. Also check out PCA's Panorama, there are always nice turbos for sale. Good luck with your search.
