Default Keeping the "Dot"

Hi all,

Just realized last night the "dot" from the car's rear "Turbo 3.6" emblem has been fallen off again. This has been my second lost dot after a year of ownership.

Now I have to order the whole emblem from Porsche again just to get the "dot." Anyone know a good adheresive that would perform a better job? Better yet anyone know if we can just buy the "dot" without buying the rest of the emblem?

Thanks!
Kev

I'm not sure about a better, safer adhesive. I had to buy the entire emblem to replace my dot.

Do other people wash your car? That's when you are probably losing it.

I have the same problem, people tell me they have never heard of a Turbo 36 - very annoying.

Mine fell off when I was drying the back after a wash. Luckily I saw it fall of and I just glued it back on. Have to be careful when rubbing over the emblem. You have to buy the entire emblem to replace it

Not going to fall off again.

Thank god my local dealer actually has a set in stock. Will glue the dot back and hopefully it will stay on forever Meanwhile it is not a bad idea to order a few spares as they are just USD45 for the whole emblem

+1, I think the simple turbo script is far more understated and classy.

I think it's crap and looks too 1980's

Will be fitting a turbo 3.6 badge, sans the 3.6 when I get the paintwork sorted out this year.

Agree biglicks, if you have a 3.3 turbo, but for those 3.6 turbo owner---they would the original 3.6 emblem ! At least that's what I think............

Back in 1998 I bought the mrs a smart car to learn to drive in and stuck our badge on turbo .6, cut the 3 off. Could not resist it
