Default '91 965 on the bay

Getting more curious about this one - have requested info about where the rebuild was done, but haven't heard back. Interior looks rough, but if the price was right... maybe.

Opinions? Regulars seem pretty darn good at spotting big problems in these listings before taking the leap on a ppi...

Thanks

I would think this car could be a good driver. Can you get a copy of the motor work? Don't worry about the seats, there are companies who can fix them...

Good luck!!!

At the right price may still be not a bad car although the colour combo aint as desirable as others and should be taken into consideration when bidding to buy!!
As dholling says seats are an easy fix,you can easily source the dye for these and recoat the worn boulster yourself (i have performed this perfect on my previous porsches and ferrari,,easy!!)
Not a great job of the head/sunroof lining being replaced though,,think the guys dog has re-fitted that!

I think the sunroof lining is from bad sunroof seals looking from the pics. Also the
car has had some paint work done from looking at the pics. The guy is asking a high price for what the car is a daily driver.. I see nothing wrong with picking a car like this up just make sure you pay a fair price and plan on doing work your self and have fun...

Thanks guys. Would love to find a nicer example, but with the current prices for perfection I get conflicted vs. a 993tt (in a perfect world I'd have both!). The harebrained theory with this would be solid mechanics (rebuild) keep the workout period reasonably affordable vs. the average car in this shape. Didn't put 2+2 together on the sunroof seals and liner... that's a bit scary as for what 'cosmetic' damage might be lurking.

The only body work on a VIN check was for "front impact with parked vehicle" in '92.
