What causes flames from our exhausts?
#16
I don't know about the 935's, but the Peter Gregg car owned by my friend has a Zork tube and no mufflers. He says his doesn't shoot flames. I haven't followed him on track since I heard this theory, but I have no reason to doubt him.
Another idea--Maybe all of the cars can be seen shooting flames at night. I just run in daylight.

My buddy's 930 shots a blue white flame out his tip with no muffler just by giving the car gas at night sitting and driving its been like this for 2years. But my 91 turbo runs alittle rich with no flames.

PO of my car used to report flaming quite a bit, especially when he ran a variable boost and used to LIVE in the redline zone.
He was running much richer, too; the running joke was that cars tailing behind him in the fast lane used to have to use their windshield wipers to clear all the gasoline pouring out of his exhaust!
