I am going to take a guess at this one. Back in August I was at the Glen w/ Riesentoter and paddocked near a really nice guy who was there with his wife. Over the weekend we talked about my car and he mentioned how he used to have a 3.6. It was midnight blue and he had it at Summit Point and agreed to let his buddy drive it. Somewhere in the Carousel, the guy lost control and put it into the wall. The owner had track insurance...

 

I think your a little wet on that one ..the car 's owned by Kevin Roush out in Simi Valley
a suburb of Los Angeles, car hasn't been wrecked and has clear tiltle!
I'm sure there is astory of some kind but thats not it ..Kevins a pretty straight shooter
and very active in POC possibly had a client wanted to strip out his car for track use then lost his
financial footing ,been there done that..
I have a '91 965 completely dismantled by some yokel in Missourri who planned the same thing then
started divorce proceedings and it was too late at that point !

Yeah I misread this one; but there is a blue 3.6 that met the wall at Summit somewhere out there.

 

8 000 OBO ? Is this dollar ??? Because the car is in south california?

In your opinion(s), is it possible to restore this porsche and drive it on the roads ( with legal papers off course :-) )

 

It would make a good base for a track car or restore from a donor car. If the car was close and I had room I would buy just as a back up body..
