Default Why isn't this car selling?

I have seen and heard about this car for quite some time. Those I spoke to that looked into it said it was a nice example and an honest car unlike some. The price is reasonable and I guess the only issue is the color combo. But with so many looking for nice clean honest cars why is this thing not in someones garage by now?

Anthony, I couldn't agree with you anymore... If I were in the market I would buy this car. Sounds like a nice buy for a piece of history.

The only thing it can be is the color combo because it looks clean to me. Does anyone know what they are asking?

Bad color combo can be the only reason. If it had black leather it would probably be gone by now.

Not a fan of tan interior even though i have 2 cars with it, although I looked at a 3.6 with this same color combo and it worked. The black piping helps. Nice thing about white is any interior works with it and it is the easiest paint to touch up and keep looking fresh.

It just doesn't have the high bling factor.

Black were optional. The bad boys car had black calipers also.

This car is owned by TWINVIPERS over on 6speed. It has H&R springs, 1 bar spring and cat delete. He is selling it to get another 3.6T with 14000 miles which brings us to the original question. Why?

My guess (I pre-apologize to Stedge if you buy it) is that nothing really POPS on this car. Exterior color is not very flashy (speaking from experience). Interior is so-so (color). The mileage is also extremely average. It seems that unless these cars (965's) have some unique traits (color, mileage, etc.), they fall into an abyss, where price becomes king. As for price on the car. I think something just north of 50K will buy it. Which would make it well bought.

Craig

PS I think he paid about 54500 for the car.

You are correct, although with so many looking for a nice clean car you can drive away for less than average and do whatever you want to this car without worrying about value.

This reminds me of the white gray car that was around for over a year a few years back. Not a bad car in general but it would not sell and eventually it sold for less than some 3.3l cars. For this price you could EFI the engine and replace the interior in whatever color you want and have a fun ride. You would be into it for less or damn near close to some stock 40k mile 3.6's in black that have sold in the past year too.

That car would probably sell in 2 seconds if it were in the Middle East.

Damn - do we really only get 13 mpg on the urban cycle.

It looks as if the bidding has ended on this car. Anyone in here purchase the car? If so, congrats!
