Default FS: 1994 964 Turbo S - Flatnose black.

Gang of 964 lovers...(myself for sure included)....

For sale is a pristine 1994 Turbo S Flatnose, 1 of 22 ever built. For the true afficianado, the 964 Flatnose is an incredible driving machine as well as a top quality collectible.

im sure you guys know but an entire website has been developed tracking the history and auro of the 964 Flatnose S. http://www.flachbau.com/

This particular example was originally purchased and Spec'd by Ray Joseph of RPM Sportscars. It currently has approximately 16,800 miles on it. The car has been maintained and recently inspected by Protosport of Butler, NJ who called it the most perfect 964 turbo they have ever seen. The car has a gorgeous black exterior with a lite grey/w/black piping interior.

The speedline polished wheels are without flaw and perfect.

I am the owner of the car with clear title. I have one other flatnose S, (pearl white) and will be keeping that car for the indefinite future. I have several other nice Porsche examples, but am simply looking to "downsize" and consolidate a bit.

If you've been looking for one of the nicest, most collectible models in Porsche' history, this is definately one of the finest.

If interested, shoot me an email and i'd be happy to discuss the car with you, and work with you to see if its a good fit.

A beautiful car. Wish I could afford it.

I dont suppose I could convince you to take a pile of pictures of the left and right rear fender wells showing the turbo ducts and where they go to? And if they go into the engine compartment, where/how?

Kirk,

was able to snap some photos. frankly, really tough to spot whats going on there. first, for sure, 100% it doesnt vent into the wheel area. there is some kind of grate about 3inches back in the opening on each side. the openings are slightly different shaped and sized. from inside the wheel well, you can see NADA, just flat wheel well surface. so it must snake above the wheel well into engine area. i opened the engine compartment but couldnt see anything at all. just too much stuffed into too tight an area. i snapped whatever i could. hope it helps.

maybe some smart guys know better whats going on back there.

go to www.911flatnose.com i created a link for Other and loaded them there.. easier.

Also, while not that important, i believe this car is sold. got papers, should have cash tomorrow and gonzo. onward.
thx.

latr.

The fender vents are for cooling the motor, they do not cool the brakes. As Steve said it's too tight to see where exactly they feed into the engine compartment. The front vents are for the oil cooler and a/c units.

Steve,

Thanks for the pictures. I didnt know there was a grating in there. I see what you mean by it being hard to tell where they go!

I'll have to ask around and see if anyone has any pictures with the engine out.

I didnt think it would be very long before the car was sold. Its a beautiful example.
