Front splitter
Alright where can I find a front splitter that went on the Turbo S version of the 94 3.6. I have called several dealerships that say the part is no longer available. Does anyone know someone that has one for sale?

If you want the real thing you have to get them from Porsche Motorsport N.A., the dealer cannot get them. Although on the Turbo S they are actually RS/RSR parts and they are on wide body trays.
FYI - PMSNA Part Manager:
Phoebe Palazzo
Tel: +1 (714) 546-6939 Extension 11
Fax: +1 (714) 546-2311
E-mail: phoebe @ porschemotorsport.com
NOTE: It is better to try to order parts after the racing season is over ... they are very busy supplying all of the race teams during the season - so you may be ignored.

No, the turbo S is not wider than a turbo. I think he meant wider than the NA narrow body.
btw, I have these splitters. I was told they are the same mould as the origional RSR, BUT the quality is not great, tyhey are just fibreglass and don't fit very well. They need to be bonded and screwed. But hey, I guess the original track cars didn't have perfect fit either ;-)
In any case, you will probably scrape them, so its good they are cheap to replace.
PS: I think cargraphic do them too, better quality but much more expensive.

Narrow body meaning non-turbo. Standard 3.6 and Turbo S use the same undertrays its just that on the Turbo S the wings from the RS/RSR are attached. The wings are the parts that are being sold at that link. The difference in the wings is that the Porsche wings are ABS plastic and are a perfect factory fit. Those being sold at that link are probably fiberglass and may or may not fit properly - I don't know as I have no experience with them. I can tell you that the fiberglass wings are prone to cracking when scraped (as this area of the cars tends to do).

My vote is for the FVD one piece fiberglass splitter. But it requires a lot of ingenuity to make it look right; but on the jelly bean car, it might take away from its value

Mike,
Give in to the force. If you love your car now you will be astonished at how much better it is with the Bilstein/H&R's. It is worth every penny and can easily be reversed. Just do it.
BTW the splitters look great and add to high speed stability.
