Looking for a 964 Turbo
Hi:
I am new to the forum. I am a big fan of the 965 and I am very interested in obtaining one. Due to my budget, I am looking for preferably a higher mileage car in good condition. If anyone knows of one available I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
Thank you,

That calagary rennsport car to me doesnt add up to its price. first, its a lot of miles. its been painted nicely. the biggest issue for me is that the wheels are not stock; the Speedline wheels are the nicest around and are a big big piece of the overall value. i think for marginally more money, i've seen better examples out there, but if thats your price range, well, to each is one's own. i think 10k lower in price, it might approach being a good purchase. at current price, i'd be a seller, not a buyer.

sory to say i dont know. i'm sure cobalt does. guru needed.
i thought it was a 965 which i always thought designated the 3.6l turbo, ie. 94 .
but i know little other than valuations....that price is sky high.
you can get a nice 94 stock maybe not blk blk but close in price.

yes, exactly. i my self was looking at that 2 day sago and had a nice email dialogue with him. seems like very nice car with mid-miles on it and very collectible. stock wheels, great color combo. one fo the nicer ones i'v eseen midmiles.
ive owned about 7 964turbos in the past 18months. great collectible cars and they drive lights out. awsome machines.
i want to say he's under 60k$ on that car. a few below that, and its a deal. stock wheels are nice. those alone are probably worth 5, 6grand.

The 1991 and 1992 964 turbo's did not come with Speedline wheels. Unless you REALLY have to have th3 3.6L engine, the 91 and 92's are a great option. Plus, as they were not just single model year cars in the US, the parts for the 3.3L are easier to come by (I would assume, correct me if I am wrong).

the 1993 Turbo S came with three part 18" Speedline wheels and the '91 and 92', of which 674 and 309 cars respectively, were imported to NA had 17" 7J and 9J Cup Design Wheels.....
The white car in NC should be around $50,000...give or take five percent...the ask is an attempt to cover the purported purchase price plus NC sales tax...466 units imported to NA as 1994 model

He is asking 54850 and willing to take interesting trades...not sure exactly what, but seems a pretty reasonable guy.

I've seen him and his car over on 6speedonline.com forums. He is replacing that 964t w/ another "collector" car. He set his price to sell and is very reasonable. He set his ad on ebay now.

I hear the NC is a nice honest car, well represented and in decent shape for a reasonable price.
The Debate on how many 91 turbos is apparently still on. I am going to start a thread asking about vins since so many seem to be shopping for them lately.
True 466 94 3.6's were made, however only 410 of them were in stock form with the rest of them shipped as flachbau's and package cars.
Other cars to use the speedlines and in polished form I might add are the 92 ROW turbo S, the Flachbau, Package and 968 RS. The 3.8RS and RSR used them in 9 & 11" widths with a mean ET5 offset in the rear.
