Default Cheap Speedlines

I just found 2 pieces of new 18" 52 / 8" speedlines (not polished) in the original box in the back of the local dealers warehouse, he wants 520USD each. There is one 18" 61 / 10" for the same price also...I want that one!

FYI....all you speadline hunters. I can assist you if you are interested, I know they are a long way away but you can deal with the dealer and I can send you some pics.....cheap even with air freight thrown in!!

Those are a steal. Don't forget that FVD have spare parts if your wheels are damaged [no affiliation -yada yada]

RT,

the wheels are already sold.

Youcef,

I must say that this sale wasn't treated in a correct way by the Porsche Dealership.

I dunno what happened, I been out of town on business.

I sent all of you the same information and whom to conatct. The wheels are not mine, they were in the dealers like any spare parts so I guess it was subject to prior sale.

Hi All,

Just wanted to update you on this. I contacted them and said I wanted to buy them - that was last weekend. On Monday, I was told there was a problem with them and that they would contact me again. They contacted me today and said both were damaged and couldn't be repaired. It all sounds rather fishy to me, but there you go. I wonder if they have already been sold or more likely if they have realised they were too cheap...

Regards,

Tim.

I saw the wheels sitting on the floor last week, they were out of the boxes and sitting on a raw the concrete!! When I asked why they said that they had found some scratches and they had been waiting for me to take a look to see if they were okay because they wanted to advise you guys. I looked at what were mint wheels that now had a large scratch on the outer rim bead section on one wheel, that was okay it just looked like it was dragged on the floor (concrete) and pulled the clear coat away, the remainder of the wheel was still perfect. The second wheel had less an area of damage but quite obviously they had dropped the rim and dented it ever so slightly. Now knowing how these things get blown out of proportion and not wanting my name abused all over Rennlist because one of you received damaged wheels and I was the cause and was in some mixed up in a "deal" with the dealer ( God help us!) I told the lady that was there, the same one you had speaking to that these wheeels were no longer as new and could not be sold as such. She said she was going to contact all the customers who had been in contact with her and advise the same.

So thats what happened to a mint pair of Speedlines (at the dealers) and you can guarntee one thing, you will never hear me advertising anything on the web again no matter who owns it or wants it.
