Don't take this personally but many people on this board are service history fanatics and PPI fundamentalists. When some new guy ask something they automatically start pronouncing the words «get a PPI» «get a PPI» «get a PPI». Relax. I never made a PPI in my life and nobody punished my ears.

I had one done on the first Turbo I went to see (strictly speaking I had it done before I went to see it - it was the other end of the country y'see), by a supposed expert (most people would recognise the name).

Personally, when I actually got to see the car in person I didn't think the PPI worth the paper it was printed on - yes it was detailed in some respects, but completely and utterly missing glaringly obvious faults in others.

There's this thing I think, especially with the english, where we think others always know better than we do.... and it's not always true.

Hi Jerry, yip they are indeed 18" 993's but no longer ! a lovely set of 18" speedlines now sit under the arches, 993's are used on the track, my car is currently undergoing some major work, efi suspension, brakes etc, hence my comments on on doing your own work, should be back on the road very soon time permitting ! lacking in pics but i'll get some up when she's back on the road.
