My Stolen Speedlines on Ebay

A fellow Rennlister just sent me a link to an ebay auction for polished Speedline for Porsche wheels. The seller is located in Houston and ended the auction early (on May 19), so I have no idea how to contact the buyer. Looks like the seller has a wheel/tire business.
What would you do? I am sure that the Police is not the least bit interested in following up on this...

Jerry,
of course there is no way to be 100% certain. However, I am 99% certain that these are my wheels.
1. not too many 3.6 Turbo polished Speedline for Porsche wheels are on the market.
2. the dealer happens to be in Houston, that's where my wheels were stolen.
3. same brand of tires, which the seller claims have still about 85% thread left. I just bought brand new rear tires for over $700
4. he ended the auction early and sold them for $2900 (starting price was $2000). Nobody ends an auction for these wheels early to sell them at such a low price. The price to replace one rear tire is almost $2200.
5. same center & valve caps
Of course it could all be such a big coincidence...

Was your car insured at the time when they stole them? If so just get a new set from Porsche, they still sell them although a little on the pricy side ($1,500 to $1,800 a wheel), but Ebay would be a good place to start looking for the culprit

Autobahn, that sucks. I feel your pain. Agree that the police may not be rushing to your aid but I'd contact them anyway. And contact ebay. Maybe contact the seller (another innocent victim). Do what you can and keep your fingers crossed.

Did you ever order anything as replacement?
