Steffan,

It is ok to disagree. We have hundreds of systems running around that do not have this issue. When an issue arises it something in the system typically not releasing air. In order for you not to have creep you have to have a wastegate that is operating at 100% of its capacity. There is no way around it. You can't expect the wastegate to accommodate a free flowing system with a stock muffler either on it or the turbo. If the turbo has a stock muffler on it then the car will make less power due to back pressure, if the wastegate has backpressure on it then the system will overboost.

It doesn’t matter what year of car, we have discussed here on the board many times that the stock wastergate muffler can not be run on the car with the headers. It is my bad for assuming that you were running this from the start. I should have inquired farther. I have cars that easly crank 400+ to the wheels and never overboost to the point it is cutting the switch out. Yes, they may peak to 1.1 then will drop back after the boost hump. Never running the wastegate muffler though. Typically I like the Fabspeed dump pipe because it will route the wastegate all the way out the back of the car and the exiting sound is behind you. R we just fab our own pipe and tip to keep from having to cut into the heart exchanger.

How about if you fit the B&B wastegate dump pipe - do you still need to cut into the heat exchanger ?

Not if we supply the one for the C2T. The pipe exits to the rear. The 930 dump is a short 90 to the ground.

Are there two different B&B dump pipes?
If so I must have gotten the 930 one, right?

Staffan, the B&B dump pipe for the C2T is what I took pictures of posted on page 2 of this thread. I was also having the same problems as you, and mine did turn out to be an incorrectly functioning Waste Gate.

Okey thanks Bill, thought there was a c2t pipe included in the installation kit and that I got the wrong part.

I believe my wg works fine, with no wastegate backpressure I have a slight overboost, I would think that is what others has experienced, but I am of course not 100% sure.

Purchase the B&B muffler system; the sound alone makes it worth it. No more over-boosting problems with my car after a 3 day track event....

I just have the .8bar spring in mine now, and it is definitley functioning properly. I also have a .7 and .3 springs, and I have thought about putting the 1.0 bar combination and seeing what it does. Realize though, that I live at 5,000 feet, so I am not sure if that makes a difference on my boost pressure or not.

Steffan,

The stand dump comes wiht the install kit. This is the 930 dump. I am not sure whay they include it. The muffler has its own tip and muffler along with just the tip and pipe like Drew has.
