Tires are SO3s aged 1 year based on date of manufacture on tire. Tires are well scrubed on track but has about 1/2 of its tread left. Tread pattern is significantly different from SO2. I think main reason was road noise from what I have read. Yes I prefer the SO2s despite higher noise as it is grippier and more progressive when it loses traction, but they are no longer available where I live
Tire pressure is 34 front and 36 rear cold for road use. I use 34/34 F/R hot on the track based on most uniform tire temperature left to right of the surface that contacts the road using IR thermometer.
Looks like I need to quickly use up the rest of the tire tread so I can get bigger better tires....more track time should do it If I switch to 285 or 295 rears, what is the recommended front tire size?
Clint, yes car in avatar is mine. The wing is by MA Shaw and they call it an RSR though I dont think it is an official porsche rsr wing. More curvaceous than GT2 wing. Yes I have more pics from the mountain drive which I will post this weekend. However I always run into my max quota for file uploads on rennlist. Any way to post more pictures without the quota being breached?

I had a very small leak on a valve with one rear tyre last year losing some pressure and rear grip was scary on down-shifting.
Suggest you double check pressures as if these are not balanced as well as low pressure i think this will cause you problems.

There is a mountain loop which comprises 1,800+ turns in northwest thailand that I hope to do again soon and make a video of the run. How many turns are there in Nurbergring circuit?
Regarding tire pressures, my owner's manual says 36/36 front/rears. I know my 964C4 NA was specified at 36/44

Other than all the good tips about tires, have a look at your subframe mounts and rubbers, they might have gotten old. I would also put a thin spacer (although not my favourite thing) in the rear since you have a slightly wrong offset on those BBS LMs and the track is a bit narrower than it should.
Nice car!

I did check my manual again and sure enough it says Summer 36/36; Winter 36/44....strange it should be different than the 964C4 and 965 3.6. Anyone know what the recommended pressure is for a late 930?
BTW, my BBS has offsets wider than the stock cups by about 10mm in the rear and 5mm in the front
