Clue is when it is cold out.
those switches are supposed ground at 1.4 Bar but they are sensitive transient spikes .This is very common with headers. I changed thaty sucker 4 times till I found one that works.
I also had an adjustable pressure swtich installed (borg warner) that worked ok but was a little too big.

leave the Tial alone it won't matter.

It has been cold out. We'll see what the new switch does. I think I am still going to look at the Tial and see what spring is in it, but I appreciate your comments.

OK guys, thanks to Steven and his son at Poudre Sports Car, I know what part of the problem was. My Tial had the following springs in it, a Green (.8 bar) and small red (.3 bar) one. So its not hard to see why the overboost was kicking it.

We test drove it with a boost gauge hooked up, and it pegged the gauge at 15 psi, pretty quickly, so I might go ahead and put the .7 bar spring that I ordered.

The .8 bar spring should be okay if you take the .3 bar red one out...
