Default 993 steering column conversion for late model steering wheel

Has anyone done this conversion?

I am thinking a long term project but curious as to what parts are needed, level of effort, etc.

The Options available for newer steering wheels are NICE and not too bad on price.

Also looking to push the wheel a bit out from the dash a bit.

Thanks.

This is a Daytona style wheel made by Raid installed on 91 c2 turbo. It has an airbag and uses the existing red airbag connector when installing the bag. The adapter is from FVD; they have one with leather, and one without. They too also sell a wheel like this along with many different variations to match your interior color and style preference.

Thanks.

I found some posts about the 993 option on the 964 and it seems to be too much effort.

This looks like the option for me. Now just need to find a good deal on a used one.

Love your car too! Can't wait to get mine post-quality.
