The mounting plate for my air conditioning compressor is broken and I've just bought a replacement off eBay in Germany. However it was advertised as the correct 964 part (964 126 023 20) but actually has a 930 part number stamped on it (930 126 119 4R).
On initial inspection, it looks identical to the existing one on my car (hole centres and height seem to be the same) but it's difficult to be sure without taking the old one-off. Before I do that, I wondered if anyone had any idea if it will fit?
Cheers,
Tim.

Hi Tim,
I'm not able to confirm your query, but have noticed that a lot of parts for our cars are part no 930... Although lots of aircon & heater parts are 964... I understand that when replacing some parts, they even have the code 993...
By the way, if you or anyone else in the UK needs aircon parts, we can get very good prices from Coolit. The US guys have their own firms specialising in discount prices (I came across Autohaus who were very helpful). No need in most cases to pay full OEM prices (such as JZM charge!).
PS: Tim, my car's coming back this weekend from Coolit with rebuilt aircon system so am planning to take a trip to PCGB HQ (Cornbury House) on Sunday morning for a gathering. Its over your way I think. You up for it?

Hi Mark,
No problem re the part - it's a bit of a long shot.
Glad to hear your aircon's finally sorted. Yes I would definitely be up for a trip to Cornbury house on Sunday. What time are you planning on being there?
Cheers,
Tim.
