Default 3.3 Engine rebuild details...

Need to rebuild the my 3.3 964 motor (bought it in a box of bits...) but really need to find a workshop manual with all the torque settings and specifications...

Anyone point me in the right direction - or even have a pdf file with the info??

Hi Fritz, thanks for the offer. My German is, however, non-existent!! Are there enough pictures/diagrams to make it worthwhile as a reference source do you think??

to be honest, i recommend to wait for an offer which provides the manual in english.
if you dont get one and you just want to have a try with the german version, give me your e-mailadress via PM and i´ll send you the link.

There are 3 manual sets associated with the 964 turbo the first is the stock 964 set which consits of 7 volumes. Last I checked these were selling for over $1100.00 and then there is the 2 volume set that covers the 91-92 turbos. Last I saw these were selling for upwards of $400.00. The last is a single volume which covers the 94 3.6Turbo. Last I checked you were looking at over $250.00. The turbo volumes only supliment the factory volumes.

Last I checked the turbo manuals were no longer printed and prices are on the rise.

Your next best bet is the factory spec book P/N WKD-423-920-OEM. This gives you all the torque settings and tolerances. Again this is no longer printed and hard to come by. I have all the manuals. I was lucky enough to buy them before they went out of print and I believe I paid around $500 for everything.

I do have a spare turbo 3.6 manual but that won't do you any good.

If you become desperate I can try to scan the important pages of the spec book and email them to you.

Good Luck

I bought the 3.3 turbo supplements from FVD ~6 months ago. They may still have sets available.
