Before and after shots.
I put H&R coil overs, HD Bilstien struts and shocks and 18" Porsche Sport Design rims with 225-40-18 in front and 265-35-18 on the rear. Ride height is 25" floor to wheel arch front and 25-3/4" at the rear, I am running 42psi rear and 36 psi front. She handles like a dream.

As long as you are changing springs and ride height, I recommend a cornerbalance. This will give you the right ride height and balance F/R and L/R.
You don't say what tire size you are using F&R, but that also affects tramling on roads with uneven pavement.

My wheels are standard 17" cup 1's 7" at front and 9" at rear, using Pirelli Pzeros all round. Standard tyre pressures.
I would have thought this standard combination would be more compliant than bigger, wider wheels?
Anyway, I am losing faith with my existing garage and will be trying someone else in due course (after I've sorted the current misfire!)
Thanks all.
PS: Jeffrey, your new acquisition looks great fun!

Might also be worth getting the tyres checked thoroughly. When I changed my tyres I was told that one of the rears had a collapsed side wall.
Have a chat with JZMachetc about the H&R springs. I think that you can vary the ride height by coil length and the progressive springs improve the road holding.

Hi Bryan,
Funnily enough, I am visiting JZ tomorrow for them to have a quick look at my idel problem (see separate thread) so may well get some more advice from them.
cheers,
Mark
BTW, I saw your car at the PCGB Eynsham, much cleaner than when I first saw you. Looked really smart

I've used Machtech for regular servicing and general/upgrade questions for the past 2 years and theyve been nothing but excellent - can highly recommend them and theyre hourly rate is very reasonable too at £55/hour.
