Default Screamer is back

After about 6 months of a new respray and engine work our "Screamer" is back in the garage.

While in the shop we found many things wrong not the least of which eroded, and FOD damaged turbo, one cyclinder at 15% the rest 5% or less that indicated exhaust valve was leaking, several brokens studs on the cam towers, the alternater and a/c compressor, idler pully bearing making noise.

It looks beautiful and after Ulitmate Motorweres K27HF, Tial 46mm wastegate with .8 bar spring, B&B headers w/heat, new valve guides and rings.

Just drove it the 50 miles Kevin said to drive without getting into boost and then rolled on the power in third at about 2000 rpm, the boost went to .7 by 2800 (maybe even sooner) and it seemed like a very different drive. We are going to be careful with the new rings for about 500 miles and after a oil change and inspection, we will hammer it. Our mechanic bet me that I would have a ticket before the years is out. Oh my.
