Great color! You'll have that grin everytime you get into the boost.
That might be the first one I've seen in that color. Does anyone know if Slate Gray was a "standard" color for 1991's, or was it custom?

Pretty sure slate grey was one of the optional colors.

Very nice, best luck.

Default Color

The Red Book should tell you about "Slate"......I have seen a bunch of regular 964s in that color...with the tan interior...It is a great combination....This was a great car, althought a tad expensive...Still sorry I didn't buy it two months ago

Nice choice of car (although I'm somewhat biassed). Enjoy it in good health.

thanks for the great welcome. Y65MPH, I think I'll get to know her a little before I turn Stephen and the boys loose on her. They are drooling for the chance. The AXA Cup car will be at IA tomorrow night between 4 and 7 if anyone in the area wants to check it out. They get a good crowd at these things.

Yes Turbo 3.6 she is my first Porsche, following 1962 VW Bug, 1969 Fiat 124, 1972 MGB, 1985 Merkur, 1991 M3 (in europe), Golf 16V, 1968 Lemans (oops), 1989 5.0 Mustang and others less notable.

Nice. Sounds you have been reading (during the years)about driving Porsches, right?

Have fun.

I love doing a road trip in a new car. I did the same as you. Bought my car in NJ and drove it to TX. the first day I did 700 miles and I couldn't wait to get back in the following morning.
