My engine was done at 10k miles under warranty. The work was performed by Andial. I have to pull the paperwork but the pricing they had listed was much more. Athough they have each seal listed individually and IIRC it took up almost 2 pages. I guess prices may have dropped since 1998 or if you buy it as a kit it is much more reasonable.

Good news is not a drop of oil anywhere.

Just got the report back and there is oil leaking from the top end of the motor (cam housings etc.). - so it needs to come out for a top end reseal - although the engine case should not require opening.

Also some small movement in the rear CV joints but they are still serviceable and have life left in them - what are worth to replace ?

John,

Mine had a slight leak for the whole 3+ years I had it, never got any worse. If its not to bad just wait till you need to drop the engine and do it then and save on the labour costs.
How much is the car?

Agree with Morgan, unless you have a major oil leak leave it for now.
