Miguel, I agree, very expensive to run both a lover and a 965. But you know how it is, you just can't do without either!

Hi Miguel,
Sorry to have avoided your posts about the footie .... no, in England we really do not still say 'soccer'
;-)

I believe it all starts this Friday, so will be following how things go. We have quite a world-wide representation on this site, so should be interesting...

Anyway, update on my car re. oil leaks. After the shock of learning about the unexpected repairs, I have again spoken with my mechanic and the conclusion is a little more encouraging:

- The A-frames do need doing, so my wallet will be £550 lighter! My geometry is all good and he will recheck it after the work.
- the leaks on oil pipes are very light- he used the word 'sweating' rather than leaking, so that can wait (a long time I hope - at £470!)
- Rear discs just 'ridged' rather than corroded, so again, wait for a while.
- Power steering seals- again keep an eye on, but review at next service.

so, all in all, not bad at all....

PS: I need all my money for the paintshop at the end of the month remember!

if your A frames do not need replacement, your wallet will be heavier, my friend, not lighter..thank God!
