Default Valve adjustment 3.3 Turbo

Gawd - what a pain to get access. I have done an 83 before but this is my first turbo. No wonder they charge so much. I wanted to add some comments on what difffered in my experience from others on this board.

1) The picture of the 964RS engine from http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforu...eferrerid=37335
looks different than my lower right side. I'll have to include some pics, but it looks like he removed the entire turbo inlet. I only removed the wastegate itself. I also had to remove that valve going through the left engine tin. A bunch of stuff fell out that a PO had dropped in there. I had to put a baggie over the wastegate connection to the turbo inlet to keep stuff from falling in. There's also some oil or fuel lines running through but they don't get in the way.

2) I don't know how to remove the two right engine tin topside bolts without moving the AC and that big hose from the right blower motor. I don't think I'll put those two bolts back in. The big hose (930-211-246-00) is torn and lists for $130 on Pelican. It was also not securely fastened below the AC. Everything was running OK despite this, so I think I'll apply some duct tape to the holes unless someone can recommend a cheaper replacement.

3) My front left jack support is gone! Nothing but empty space where it's supposed to be. I used the left side member instead. Anyone ever seen this?

Here are some pictures. The first is the left rear where the turbo wastegate was removed. The second is the right rear where the muffler was removed. The next are all the parts I removed. I removed the intercooler, though that was for other reasons (belt replace, distributor replace, fuel system debug).
The fourth shot is my left front. Notice the hole in the top right where the jack point SHOULD be and where I placed the stand (and jack for backup).
The fifth is the newest addition to my garage. With my favorite beer going back into limited production, I needed a less expensive solution than paying $11 per 4-pack, so I paid $150 for the keg and then got the keg fridge at Best Buy (2 years same as cash, baby). It will pay for itself in time.
