Updated 3.6 Turbo Pics
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post a couple updated pictures of my new to me 3.6 Turbo. I have spent the last several weekends cleaning and detailing. I'm very pleased with the result. Now I just need to drive it! Due to our wonderful climate here I have only been able to drive the car once and that was only about 7 miles. Weather permitting, I'm scheduled to take it in for service next week. Cheers to SPRING!

Mouth watering. Nice buy. private seller or dealer? Silver RSA and Black 3.6 T, good taste. I love my Guards Red and almost bought a Guards Red 92 Turbo but was too slow on the draw to make a decision. But there is something about a BlackTurbo that makes it look a little more aggressive than most colors. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses guys. I am looking forward to getting it out for some exercise very soon!
Last Toy - I purchased the car from a private party through the PCA. I may know where there is another guards red 92 Turbo. PM me if you are interested. Your car looks great in your Avatar....love the wheels. I really do enjoy looking at the black car, however, after having the Polar Silver RSA I am quickly remembering how much work it is to keep a black car clean.
Frank - Thanks - regarding the ride height, it has eibach springs and it has been corner balanced, however, it's still sitting just a bit too high. I am considering Bilsteins and H&R maybe sometime this summer. How about you? Are you doing just springs or struts and springs on your new beautiful blue 3.6T?

Looks awesome! I have always adored the more classic 964 3.6T lines. And with the Speedlines and black paint it looks like it is going 150mph standing still. Enjoy!!

My concern is that with the reduced ride height the "zero position" of the shock piston changes and that could possible break the shock. Ultimately I might go with the Bilsteins, however right now I'm focusing on paying the NJ sales tax first.
Although the H&R's will lower the car the stock shocks only have 1/2 inch of adjustment. The factory Boges are not very good and I think for a few hundred more you will like Bilsteins much better. They are fully threaded and will allow better adjustment and variable ride height.
J looks great, enjoy your new toy!!

I like the Koni's also but I find that they too do not last as long as the Bilstein. Difference with the Konis is they get soft over time even if the car is not driven.
I am not so sure you can fit adjustable perches to the factory Boge shocks.

Should have listened to you last year when i lowered my C2 T with just the springs.I am now contemplating buying some HD's and do it the the way i should have done it to begin with even though it would cost me another $700 in labor, alignment and the corner balancing..O forgot to mention yeah the ride is bit choppy with the old boges and this is in a car with 24K miles..
