I think a substantial part of the value is because 12 months of road tax are prepaid! I mean if you're paying $95,000+ for a car, which car would surely only be purchased by a collector, I'm sure that the road tax must be a top of the list consideration.

More on point ... I would like to know what proof they can offer that 'only 4 remain in the world'.

With 80 built in total and only six in RHD, I'd say the odds are pretty good that there are only four left.
JET951 what good reason would your wife have for doing that to your pride and joy..........................

I think I misinterpreted the '4 left'. I had not considered that they meant 4 of the 6, rather I thought they meant 4 of the 80, but then that doesn't make sense either. So .... I stand corrected.

Wink

The car was up for sale at a UK dealer after it came off eBay. It was on for £60k and has been sold to a chap in Hong Kong.

As always, it's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay...but if I had £60k and was looking for a 911 turbo, I'd buy this instead of a 993TT or 996TT, for which you could get a very good one at that price...

In my opinion this is one of the best Porsches! RS with turbo power! Carbon fiber panels and lightweight! If I had the money, that would be the car for me...

It´s sure to be a good collectors car!

That car was the inspiration of me putting original polished speeedlines on mine, getting suspension done to 3.3S settings etc. Even a RS three spoke steering wheel.

It is a real bad boy car.

What do you think of my attempt?

This weekend I am going to do some photos before i start to promote my sad sale.

p.s. why am I still not shown as member on my posts ( see 051229-3409)
Thanks
