I am just curious if the tail on this 1994 Turbo 3.6 was a factory option or if it is aftermarket. I have only seen this painted version on the turbo S Flatnose.
If this was a factory option, is a rare option since I've never seen this before?

its a turboS tail isnt it? and they were all painted im sure........ you can paint the black crappy bit on our original spoilers just need flexible in the paint. will look alot better IMO... thats one of the reasons the turbo S looks good.

Both photos are most likely of aftermarket 1994 Turbo S tails. The factory originals were only available on the 1994 Turbo S and factory replacements were $5,600.

MaShaw sells a version along with a few others I can look up. I always liked that tail and think it looks best. The aftermarket tails only run about $500 or so.

Anthony. I contacted M A Shaw about 9 months ago about buying one of these from them.
I am still waiting for there reply! I guess shipping to the bottom of the world can be a pain.
So I guess I will need to find another supplier. I want one though. They look amazing.
Cheers

I know this car, I spoke with the old owner in Fort Lauderdale last summer, its been for sale at two local shops in town for a while now. The guy had a pretty thick accent (Italian I think), but he said it was original Porsche from a Turbo S. Good eye Sameer, it did not match completely. He has the original tail with the car. Its a pretty clean stock 3.6 with under 30k on the odometer. I know someone who had a PPI done and did not end up buying it, but not sure why.

I like the color-coded tail too. The yellow Ruf RTC profiled in Issue #1 of Total911 has an all yellow tail that looks great. Could this be the same one?
