Hello Everyone. Have there been any discussions about the 91 turbo for $55K in the classifieds. The pics look amazing, and I was just wondering if anyone had any additional information on this car. I noticed in additional pics from the owner that the tail light lense has several cracks in it and the drivers side rear tail light appears to be not be secure. I have noticed this alot on the 91 turbos. They just don't seem to fit secure so you can see a little space between the tail light and the body. I am wondering if there was body work done and it was not done correctly. I appreciate all of your help.

I've replaced both lenses in my 92 and I need to replace the center reflector as well. Very common items. Center reflector is relatively expensive. I think you will find the spacing issue common as well and not necessarily determinative of whether or not body work has been done. Mine look like that a well.

I think its pretty common for the center reflector to get cracks. Maybe it's heat related. Its about $400 for a new center reflector. I'm thinking about doing mine also. Not only do I have a small crack - but it's starting to look faded and pink not red.
The tail lights should not be unsecure though.

My rear lenses are secure as well. Perhaps Todd is attempting to address the fit and finish element. Not sure if heat may be the issue, but the fit and finish of the rear tail light lenses leaves a bit to be desired in the C2 Turbo in my opinion. Just not as flush as with other P cars of a similar vintage. The lenses in my older 85 Targa fit better than these in the Turbo.
