Default Yet another 3.6T bites the dust

I have been keeping track of the total number of 964 turbo 3.6's that have been gone to the great garage in the sky since I purchased mine a while back.

My count is now up to 40 cars gone and 6 I know that have salvage titles.

I just found this one at LA dismantlers. That leaves a total of 364 US versions still in existance with clear titles possibly. There may be more that I am not aware of so I would guess it is closer to 350 or so survivors.

Sad to see. A moment of silence please.

Anthony,

Any idea how many 91, 92's have gone to the great garage, and the break down.

There are only 309 '92 C2Turbo in the USA and possibly Canada.

Sorry, I was only concerend with the number of '94s at the time, since that was what I was buying. Although the number of 92's is very small, the number of '91's is very high making it very difficult to track. I would assume there are not many 92's left as I see very few for sale.

Cobalt,
One of my buddies had a 3.6 he bought brand new. He never drove it any more because he also has a Ruf CTR 2 Sport along with several other nice cars. His 3.6 has 22,000 miles and he just sold it for $50K. I just about got sick when he told me. The car is bone stock and perfect. I am not in the market for one but with so few available I would have been all over it. He mentioned it to me in passing last fall but I never thought he would sell, he does not need the money.
I've always loved the 3.6.
