I found a complete kit (inc. duct pipes for brakes) here in S.CA (PCA member)over a year ago paid $650 + $50 for finishing & paint. I know FVD usa still stocks em for around $750(i think). $1200 sounds really steep. FYI:The techarts are adjustible.

FVD is asking $1050 right now and I was told the price would be increasing. I know of one other place asking $1040 and a place in the UK asking $918 or so US. I tried to get info from Cargraphic but they have been busy with the move and I am still waiting on other parts ordered last Sept.

Maybe we can see about a group buy, anyone?

FVD sure did up the price drastically over the past year. I paid $695 for the TechArt version from them a year or so ago. (late 2003 I think).

$695 is a price I would pay for a complete kit but $1050 is way to much. They blame it on the increase in the Euro but I am not so sure if that is the only reason.

I was searching for these today........FVD is at $1,050 USD......LOL....not a hope in hell of getting a sale from me......and from anyone else I see.......

Techart has discontinued them.......Porsche does not have them available thru my dealer channels......Cargraphic has ducts only (without lights)......I've got a call into MASHaw....and Ruf has nothing.....

Where do you get these today.....in mid-2006 ?

All the posts my searchs turned up were mainly 2-3 years old.......

Funny thing is......CEC couldn't help me.......and aren't they the US "Techart" distributor ?

Keith - GermanTech is the only other official Techart dealer in north America besides CEC. I've had nothing but good experiences with them having purchased quite a bit of stuff over the years (including unique leather and carpet colors that only TechArt seems to be able to reproduce - like Matador Red). In fact Porsche now has TechArt make all of their optional color leather covered replacement parts for 964 series cars because Porsche doesn't have the leather colors. I know that TechArt still offers the 964 parts catalogue so I would think these should still be available - but Joe will know for sure. BTW, as I remember the foglights can be purchased with or without the brake duct kit.

Thanks again Mark......didn't know that.......CEC was very helpful....but the guy just told me they couldn't get the part anymore......

I'll call them first thing tomorrow 4 sure.......cheers !!!!
