Fuel Cells

Over the winter I'm planning to add a fuel cell to my 965, which is very thirsty. Fuel Safe makes both a 27 gal and 32 gal fuel cell for the 964. If there are no downsides, I'd use the 32 gal as that (hopefully) would allow me to complete a 1.5 hour enduro with no refueling.
Anyone had any experience with the larger fuel cells? Specifically, I'm interested if there is a way to use the stock fuel guage and also the LF fuel door.
Thanks.

Lee,
I think to complete a 1.5 hour enduro without refueling you'll need a 55 gallon drum on the roof !!! One of my clients has the 32 gal in a 993 based car it has a dry break filler and no gauge. I don't know about the 27. I was planning to install a 27 in my car (when it was still mine) as the stock tank starts to suck air when theres 5 gal left. At Road America I started sucking air in the carousel after 40 minutes of the enduro I refueled and then ran out on the cool down lap after the checker. Man I loved that thirsty car !!

I fully agree the car is very thirsty but for 1,5 hour a 32 gal cell should be enough. I don't know about you guys but mine drinks approx 1 gallon every 4 minutes of track driving.
With the stock tank just like you after 40 minutes or so she pumps air.

Lee - Did you ever install a cell in your car? I faced the same issue all year long in enduros, aso I probably am going to install a cell this winter. I would like to get the 32 gal Fuel Safe cell so I don't have to refuel at all during enduros, but I'd also like my gauge to work and to use the existing fill location.
