Default how is the jack mounted in your frunk?

hi guys. jack came with the car almost 20 years ago. never needed it and never had it in the car. for the german historic car plates i tried to mount it in it’s place. they proof details if a car older than 30 years
there is a bolt (in the front under the carpet and a plastic nut to fix the jack. the standard jack seems to have a hole to mount it on the bolt. the turbo/rs jack does not have this hole.

any pictures of your stored jack in the turbo or rs?
thank you!

took pictures. i am unable to upload at the moment. system stops at 50% - no matter which size if file.
my turbo is a 3.3 august 91. jack is the small one for the rs and turbo (shown on the label attached to it). have the standard jack too. but no idea for this either…

thank you

great, thank you. this helps. had no idea - not even after reading the manual. i fear the black plastic part is missing in my car. that is why i found no way to put it in it‘s place.

Great, I never touched the Jack since I own the car (2007, I think the previous owner also never used it) but my battery was dead and had to take the sparewheel out so I took this picture,

In late 93 they switched from the standard scissor jack to a different compact jack that was later used on the 993 and was held in a bag. I will try to get some pics. I believe I have a spare black **** floating around it screws onto the stud that is welded to the tub. There is also a plastic shield that keeps it isolated from the battery on the earlier cars.

FYI for future reference they switched to this little bag and jack in 93 sometime.

My 718 coded 94 technically a 93 turbo. To hard to remove.

My early 93 build C2.
