I didn't find much discussion of this in past posts, so I fear this question may be so simple that everyone just knows the answer, but what is the best hose and hose clamp setup to use for the vacuum/boost lines on the motor?
Silicone hoses are readily available, but the current hoses are a braided cloth covered rubber. They're held on by pinch clamps. As I refresh these, what should I be using?

modern cars use plastic form pieces and lines. silicon ist often used for replacing this expensive oem parts and for perfomance upgrades. in our old - sorry - vintage porsches i keep it original. this textile wrapped rubber lunes lasted 30+ years. so why not keep it this style?

I'm using 4 ply silicone for the big connectors (e.g. to the turbo) but that doesn't come in small IDs. I'm looking for what to use from, say, throttle body to fuel pressure regulator, or going to the wastegate, etc.
It's probably 7mm OD? Not sure on ID.
