I saw that car in Aspen but it was on 18s with snow tires.
What did you think of the 19s in person? My usual feeling is that 17 is 'right' for a narrow 964 and 18 looks good on a widebody, but the RUF 19 is particularly attractive.
Did they look oversized on the car?

Yes it was my first thought. I would never run 19’s myself. Everyone i knew who did had issues. Still a beautiful example.

Is that a copy of the Flachbau tail? Looks larger.

The tail is a replica (though maybe from the original supplier/molds?) of the wing on the 3.6 Turbo S 'Package' cars

Also, this is apparently my life now.
Somehow these still look dirty after degreasing, tumbling, evaporust-ing, hand cleaning etc. but I promise they are much cleaner than they look.
The plating company is going to clean them again anyway, but still...

Any pitting or damage will not go away. I usually run a tap or die over the treads fora clean cut. They will acid etch them and should be OK. When you considered the time spent vs the cost of what is there it is well worth it.

The tail is the same part. No OE marking but same fit finish and quality. I figured you have seen these before but I would throw it out there to build up some excitement. Seeing the parts in real life really shows how nice they are.

Snapped these before the rains came. Car looked much more gray in the light.

Figured since we are speaking Ruf I would add these.

Great photos. We're using those two cars (the blue "Ultimate" and grey "Wolf") for inspiration and reference photos for what we are doing which, in the end, will be a blend of the two.
The only major divergence is that both of those cars have 993 wiper setups and I'm not doing the 993 windshield wiper conversion -- I know they're supposed to work better but I find the 964 wiper setup (especially the location of the washers) much more "correct" aesthetically.

The 993 wipers do work better. However I agree with you and it is another thing my eye quickly picked up on. Although I wouldn't kick any out of my garage for having incorrect wipers. The tail is still my favorite especially with the S ducts. I really like the front bumper as well. BTW I have a set of yellow lenses for your headlights if you need them.

Ah, the S ducts, lots of discussion about those.
Decided that I'm not interested unless they're 1) steel and 2) perfect factory replicas, and since that seems impossible, smooth fenders it is.

I have a set of steel OE ones but they are part of some wide body fenders I have. Not sure if I will use them or not. My plans to build another are slowly fading as i get older. I have everything I need just about but time and energy. The club racer and my GT4 have consumed all my time lately.

I have faith!

Today we laid down some carbon fiber to connect the widebody flares to the bumpers. This stuff is strong. Just one layer of carbon twill on the inside and not only can't you break it by hand (we tried) but there's zero flex -- it's like it was always one part.
Of course we're going to do a second layer on the outside just for the sake of paranoia once the inside layer is fully cured, then we can trim the overage and apply some filler to smooth out the transitions.

Do you have close up pictures of the inside of the wing. I am curious how it compares to the turbo S wing. Outwardly it appears identical. I am more curious if it is the same product just not with the OE triangle.

Looking good.
