The clutch pedal for the 3.3 RHD is part number 965 423 068 00. The pedal given to you is a clutch pedal for the turbo 3.6 which is slightly different.
Why do you want to replace the pedal?

The system must be bled and the servo spring must be set correctly in order to function properly.

Regarding your problem: There is an adjustable stop on the wooden board that is fastened with two allen screws. This can be used to shorten or lengthen the pedal travel within limits. For the clutch to disengage properly, the pedal travel from the starting position to the stop should be 145 mm, measured at the center of the tread.
