I put my Innovate PSB-1 https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/psb1.php in the spot where the change slot is.
I bought a C4 bezel (it already has a hole for the 2WD-4WD rotary switch) and enlarged it to accept the gauge.
I'm not sure that EGT is a useful thing to have unless you have a lookup table.
The nice thing about this gauge is it will log AFR, boost and rpm, which comes in handy for tuning.
Since I don't have a electronic boost control, I'm not able to use the safety features the gauge provides.
Another advantage to this gauge is that it will hold the maximum boost value, so you don't have to stare at it when you're doing a run and end up driving into the back of a garbage truck.
Thanks, i was wondering if there were any aftermarket pillar or steering column pods, the area you have fitted your gauge is also ideal
i was going to use a aem wideband gauge
I've been running Zeironix in all my cars for years
In my C2T I wedge the display in between the dash and center console
It does not have all kinds of different color lights and looks sort ofperoid correct next to the McIntosh CD
It does do data logging
and can be removed in minutes
picture makes car look so dirty ....Time forpost Covid detail ....

"Zt-2 + LCD Display Bundle
In this kit the Zt-2 Model 2010 Wideband is bundled with either our classic silver (clear anodized aluminum) LCD display, or the new black anodized LCD display. The black anodizing is a deep shade of black -- no cheap or grayish imitation anodizing here. High contrast LCD is visible even in a direct sunlight and has a peak and hold feature. Includes the Zt-2 Model 2010 Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Meter, LSU 4.9 O2 Sensor, 10ft* Sensor Harness, Signal Harness, PC Serial Cable, Datalogging Software, Installation Instructions and 2-Pin EGT Connector to retrofit your EGT probe. Data splitter included for simultaneous display and datalogging use.
Made in the USA"
This is really easy to add or remove without permanent modification .
there are other more integrated solutions and more modern
I find the data log graphs invaluable when tuning
the above "ugly AFR" Graph is showing pig rich in between shifts. I tuned that all out with a boost signal limiter controlled by my ignition computer
The airbag and charging system warnings are in the clock. Removing the clock will set the general fault (!) light and set an airbag fault code.
you're right i missed it. I believe that AFR or EGT must be in the direct line of sight without taking of eyes of the road.
Otherwise, having such a clock does not make sense because before you look, you will have burned pistons
You cannot look at the Gauge while on boost, Things are happening way too fast and very unsafe That is what data logging is for
regular driving & monitoring you can take peek for tuning / verifying
some AFR have Lean Alarm function
+1
Besides, the values are changing so fast under boost that trying to record the value visually in your brain and then looking at the recorded data is all very different.
The Innovate gauge I use will hold the maximum boost value but that is highly inaccurate too. Any pressure spike occurring when the throttle shuts will skew the data. It's best to record the data and review it at your leisure.
