Default Where does this pipe from the WUR go

trying to locate why my car has a very bad warm start and a bad cold start, looking at the fuel accumulator but when i removed the intercooler I found this blue pipe just sitting there not connected to anything, it is coming of the WUR, is the open end supposed to be connected anywhere

I went through all of the hoses few years ago, forgot, can go look but search is your friend on this one. Sometimes just use google and it will help you find the right thread on here more easily than using the forum native search.

Can start here depending if you have an M64.50 motor etc:

this tube goes up to the aircleaner. was a rubber part from factory. nla.

a hint for you: it seems you do not have an idea what you are doing.
you open one thread after the other. all basic information - nothing special.
so you should think about letting a pro have a look. may be that solves your
problems easier...

Thankyou Wicks, I have a cone filter set up, the origional air box has been removed ,will go see if there is any connection coming from this to connect to, im assuming being left like that is creating a vacum leak.

It is a ventilation so therefor it does not cause a "vacuum leak".

To left it open and unfixed is not actually smart but it is not the reason for cold and hot starting troubles.

I still have the origional box but been running the knn cone kit for over 10 yrs, can swap if necessary
whats the risk of leaving the pipe open as it is,

if your wur goes bad it can loose fuel. if this tube is connected it is blown to the airbox. if it is left open it can flood the enginebay.

thats not good, potential fire hazard
so if it goes bad the fuel is dumped into the air box when connected

Default Unplug your electronics

You’ll find the car runs the same with the jetronic unplugged
