Newbie Here. What Does a 1991 Turbo cost?
I know this question is general but what would a 1991 911 turbo with 70,800 miles go for. I have only seen pictures on the web but the car looks well kept. Of course a PPI would be done before even thinking about purchasing it. This car is at a local car dealer in Seattle and I got the bug to own another turbo. It would look nice next to the 944 turbo. Here's a quick pic of the car. Oh yeah the asking price is $38,900. It doesn't say anything about services or records so that is something that I would have to ask about. The only thing mentioned is that it has been lowered. How it was lowered it doesn't say. Thanks in advance for the advice.

With cars this rare it is a question of buyer and seller coming to a price more than a fair market value.
The asking price does seem to be in the range that I have seen them go for, but thinks like books and records, and history would effect the price a good deal.
BTW that is a beautiful example, it looks to be sitting at the Euro ride hights, and well black is always dead sexy.

This coming from the owner of a 91 Turbo with almost the same mileage...I think the price is high. If I was selling mine, I would ask $34K and be happy with $32K. My car is very good condition, although it does have enough mods to make 400rwhp. To some that may make it worth more, but others may say it detracts from value.
With that mileage, make sure the PPI does a compression and leakdown test, thorough inspection of suspension (struts, bushings, etc.), and check for fault codes. The paints looks nice, if it was resprayed, make sure you know why.
Good Luck!
