an A for effort and a D- for execution, would've been a C- for execution if he'd done something a little less white trash with his radiator setup.

Dear Anthony,
I do not have the figures handy but I am told that the Vette engine installation is quite a bit lighter than the standard engine.
The engineering work in this machine is very impressive but I have a feeling it has never been wound out on the road and a good job to.
Ciao,
Adrian

Cobalt,
According to his web site the LS-1 weighs 434lbs and the Porsche 3.0 weighs 472 lbs. There is a short video on the website of him running the 1/4 mile. click the custom page link.

That spoiler is messed up!! For me, one of the main attractions of a 911 is the gorgeous sound of the flat 6! Shame on him.

It may perform better or weigh better but it looses the character of the 911 which is so pure IMHO.

Now here is an interesting car...a 914 with a large block Chevy V8. I was watching this one on eBay for awhile. It's not pure, but it would be a blast to drive. Other than the proboscus sticking up out of the back, this one apprears to be done right.

Notice who is doing the engine work on this car....

And this one scares me! What would we do without eBay?
