Funny thing is that in high school I got a job at a Porsche Audi dealer and was trained to detail cars. This was in 1986-1988. In college I started a detailing business during the summers and always loved detailing and cleaning my cars. A few years back I had a Guards Red modded 930 with 20k miles (bought from the original owner) that I wet sanded and cleaned up over the course of a few weeks. It came out amazing. Nowadays, I just don't want to do it anymore. I think 2 kids getting older (they are 9 and 11 now) broke me! If I have free time the last thing I want to do is clean my car which is very unfortunate. I see every imperfection and they kill me. I'll get around to it in due time but at least I am not afraid of getting it dirty.
