Default Boost before oil fully up to temp

Hey guys - have searched but not finding anything.
I run a 1 bar spring.
Does the boost cutoff switch circuit factor in oil temp? As in does it have a lower boost cutoff threshold if oil is not fully up to operating temp?
Reason I ask is because several times on morning drives, say 5-10 minutes in - oil is warm but probably not fully hot, and if I punch it I hit the boost cutoff. But then later in the drive it doesn't happen anymore. At all. Or maybe in the beginning the intercooler (and everything else) is still cold (relatively speaking) so the car makes just enough more boost to trip the switch?

[QUOTE][Does the boost cutoff switch circuit factor in oil temp?/QUOTE]

nope

cold charge equals higher boost .......

you could bench test your over boost switch cold and warm to see if that is it ....

but mine dd the same before i started using after market ignition and boost control

What boost level does the cutout occur? Or is it supposed to occur at? - having a hard time fining a definitive answer.

I've seen somewhere 1.1Bar..? My car was not reaching boost this high yet it cuts out before the whole car is up to temp. 1 bar spring.

I did go ahead and order a new switch...

I have bench tested many. News ones and old ones. The number varies.

Bench test yours cold and warm, then you will know for sure.

Trust but verify.

So use a mighty vac and figure out a way to apply measurable pressure (boost) and see when the continuity goes away? I’m thinking there is continuity when within boost range, no? I’m not good at these types of things...

I use a small air compressor with an adjustable air pressure **** and set the pressure low. You can over pressure the switch and ruin it.

Just use enough pressure to trigger the switch.

I have a small pressure gauge - actually an old VDO boost gauge from a junk yard.

The pressure gauge is on a “T” with air supply on one end and boost switch on the other.

I use a muti-meter set to tone, you can watch the pressure gauge and listen for the tone to start/stop.

you could also use a motive brake bleeder with some mods.
