I know most of you who read the 964 rennlist forums probably knew of Adrian Streather's book before now, but I just received it today and found it to be extraordinary. I was expecting the normal 100 page superficial treatise but instead found an encylopedia on the 964. It is an absolute treasure for Porsche nut's like myself, very well written, with exhaustive research. Kind of like the holy grail for 964 owners. If you don't have one buy one!!! Adrian hurry up with the 993 book!

Dear Michael,
You can go to www.bentleypublishers.com and order it online or you can call Maurice on 617 528 4085 and order it direct or you can try Amazon. It is also in a few bookstores now but I am afraid I do not know if any of those are in Hawaii. Aero and Auto in Burbank CA have it.
Dear Les,
Before the 993 book comes the 911SC. This should be out circa September this year. The 993 book is at least 12 months away. To create a 993 book like the 964 one will take a lot more time because I will get to the bottom of everything and make sure I have every 993 model and version built. Because I go into such detail it will take time. I will also include the technical sections for each model. For instance 14, 993 Turbo Cabs were built in model year 1995. These used the M64/50 engine. So this has to be included. The book will also be a little larger than the 964 book as well. It is underway but it just takes time to get it right.
Ciao,
Adrian

Adrian, my boys bought me the book for Christmas...it really is excellent, every time I walk past it I have to stop and thumb through a few pages!

I no longer have one because I showed it to my local Porsche master tech. and he uuhhm he seized it from me. Kind of went insane and all the tech's stopped working to look at it. It has been donated by me. Somewhat against my will. I will be ordering another for myself. Those guy's just devoured it.
