Color Distro by Year
Waiting VERY patiently for my "new" '90 C4 to arrive with a paltry 22.5k miles so of course Ive got to do something to keep me busy in the meantime and it dawned on me that I have no idea what the color distribution is for all the colors in the 964 spectrum.
Can anyone provide that info or better yet, direct me to a resource to understand how many other white, '90 C4's are out there?
(Clearly, Im grasping at anything to keep me preoccupied)
thanks!
Steve

This information is not available. You will have to find something else to occupy yourself with I am afraid.
Here is what I know,
Guards red: Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots.
White: Lots and lots and lots.
Black: Lots and lots.
Metallic: Lots and lots and lots.
Fly yellow: 3
Pale yellow: 3
Burn't orange: 1
Afrika Corp desert sand: 1

ya Eric....must have been the same guy who said white was very rare as well...but left out, desirable.
So that must make white the very rare color that nobody wants.
Except me of course!

I suspect it depends on the market, too. Even today some markets (notably Japan) favour white Porsches, whereas it's unheard of now in the UK. In the 1980s, though, white was a popular choice here.
