New to me 1990 964 C4; actually almost new
I'd like to introduce you to my new 964. Stumbled upon this 1990 964 C4. 18,695 miles with a recent brake job, full service (valve adjustment, plugs, distributor caps and rotors, and belts). New horns, headlight glass, and final muffler. New tires. Full paint correction to the never damaged original paint.
To sweeten the deal, the car was ordered European delivery by the first owner and specified without a sunroof, sport seats, and extended leather. Somewhere along the line the car got the 7.5/9" D 90 wheels.
The original owner had Porsche do a warranty repair on the original leaking heads. Had the dealer upgrade the motor to a 3.8 at that time. Somewhere along the line the car got a lightweight flywheel; the last owner changed to a Steve Wong chip.
The car is like a time capsule; everything looks and feels as if it just rolled off the showroom floor.
Have a few personalization mods to do. Remove the new final muffler and replace with g-pipe, add a rennline gas pedal, phone mount, and tow hook license plate mount. All mods will be reversible.
Motor mounts are blown, so Wevo black pillows going in next week. Going to do a full clear bra wrap and then just drive the car.
Put almost 500 miles on it in the first two days with the car. Stay tuned for more.
